- When using MDB2, if you need to invoke a stored procedure you would probably use executeStoredProc which is a part of the mysqli_driver class. Unfortunately executeStoredProc internally just forwards the proc call to a vanilla query call. This means that the parameters to the stored proc need to be manually guarded against injection attacks and just generally undermines the practise of using prepared statements whenever possible.
