Fulbright in Norway
The U.S.- Norway Fulbright Foundation for Educational Exchange is a binational foundation with a Board of Directors composed of four American and four Norwegian members. Both governments support the program with annual allocations of funds. Each year, approx. 45 Norwegians receive grants to study or conduct research in the US, and approx. 25 Americans receive grants to do the same in Norway.
Fulbright in the World
Established in 1946, the Fulbright Program aims to increase mutual understanding between the peoples of the United States and other countries, through the exchange of persons, knowledge and skills.
Board and Staff
The U.S.- Norway Fulbright Foundation for Educational Exchange is a binational foundation with a Board of Directors composed of four American and four Norwegian members. A staff of four oversees the day-to-day work of the Foundation.
