This website is the product of two web monkeys, James "Jay" Terray (website) and his faithful assistant Darryl Suiter (website), and the feedback and warm wishes of our friends and associates.
The site began as a UNIX shell script Jay used to remember people's birthdays, anniversaries, and otherwise look like a hero to his friends and family.
One day it dawned on him that the simplicity of the email reminders he was sending himself could be a useful service to offer on the web to others.
