The beginnings of Gaming Evolution would have to have started back on March 7th, 2004, when J.J. Remsheart and Matthew Prunty started Nintendo Revolution. Seeing how this was the first time that we had ever tried our hand at running our own website, you can tell we had a long way to go. We keep the members of the Nintendo and Sony boards up-to-date with news reporting from across the world. As you can tell, we were using freewebs.com to test things out.
The site went pretty strong for about a month, before personal situations were getting in the way of keeping the site alive. So we thought it would be best to close the doors at Nintendo Revolution until we could get this settled.
As the year went on, there was thoughts of re-opening the website and give it another try. But this time around, we took a different approach. Free Webs is a good service for small websites, but we were trying to get our name out there, so we tried out Blogger. Blogger allowed us to do so much more than could be done with our freewebs website due to storage restrictions. Spending several weeks getting this together, we officially opened the doors to Gaming Evolution on January 19th, 2005.
