- Welcome to the Gaston United Soccer Club "GUSC" and the game of soccer in Gaston County! The Gaston United Soccer Club was formed in 1992 as an association of soccer enthusiasts who’s purpose is to provide the youth in Gaston County with a structured, organized and competitive soccer experience in a fun environment at a reasonable cost. Gaston United provides three levels of soccer for area players, these are Recreation, Challenge and Classic all under the sanctioning of the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association "NCYSA" and the United States Youth Soccer Association "USYSA". We are a non-profit organization supported by an eight member Board of Directors, a full time Director of Coaching and a part time Administrator. Our coaching and training staff is made up of a strong group of professionals many of whom played at the college level or higher, are current college coaches, high school coaches and volunteers. Our staff also boasts many nationally licensed coaches through the USSF and NSCAA. The Gaston United Soccer Club is committed to the growth of soccer in our community through the development of its players.We are available to answer any questions about GUSC and the many opportunities available through the sport of soccer.
