Description
Jeremy grew up in England in a small town called Herne Bay in the county of Kent. He is married to Naomi, who is originally from Ballynahinch. We have 3 children, Amy, Alison and Benjamin. Jeremy became a Christian in 1986 and has been involved in leading worship since that time.
Jeremy's employment background is in social work but now runs his own business (www.sounddesign-ni.com) in web design and multimedia. But we are struck by the words of 1 Chronicles 9 v.33, which says that, "...the singers, heads of the fathers' houses of the Levites, ...lodged in the chambers, and were free from other duties; for they were employed in that work day and night". Perhaps one day worshipping God will be full-time employment!!
The vision God has given us is to build a strong inter-denominational team to realise the vision for 24-hour worship. Currently we are working with people from different churches principally in the Ballynahinch and Downpatrick area. The vision would be to see this develop into different areas. At present, this ministry is accountable to an Advisory Team and Prayer Support Network. It is our intention to establish a 'Board of Reference', or similar, of recognised leaders in the Body of Christ as the ministry grows and develops.
