GatherGate.com is the brainchild of its founder and president, Jay Sadie. Jay has over twenty years of computer software experience, specializing in databases, business intelligence tools and artificial intelligence.

The idea for GatherGate.com came to Jay when looking for some Hummel figurines for his mother, who is a serious collector. It was not easy to locate the figurines, and after a long arduous search, he decided that the time was right for a site that specialized in collectible items.

The problem is that there are too many different places to look for collectible items. A gateway is needed... a central location where collectors can browse and locate items.
