- Geccobags was set up in 2007 by us, Georgina and Celeste to supply a range of useful shopping bags. Between us we have over 50 years experience within business and marketing environments, as well as, more importantly, over 60 years shopping experience. We both switched to reusable shopping bags within the last couple of years but became increasingly frustrated with what was available. Nothing was quite right - too big, too small, too unfashionable, not durable enough .... we could go on. So, we decided to do something about it and spent some time looking at what was available around the world. That was when we found it - a really clever type of shopping bag, perfect for all types of shopping. We were really chuffed! But, rather than just buy a couple for ourselves we thought "hey, let's share this fantastic bag with other shoppers" and so Geccobags was born.
