I've enjoyed using herbs for colds for several years. Friends of mine use them for everything. Here are a few samples of ways that I use simple herbs.
Boil 3-4 quarts of water. Add a pouch of herbs to a large pan of water and simmer for 45 minutes. strain the herbs from water and add the (now colored) water to your bath water.
