Genes are constantly evaluated for their usefulness as traits. Third parties may approach Genetwister for advice in biotechnology as well as contract research or joint research projects.
The company employs a group of qualified researchers and technicians with excellent skills in molecular biology, biochemistry, plant physiology, cell biology, developmental biology, phytopathology and bio-informatics. A staff of 6 senior managers, with a background in biotechnology, supervises the company. The laboratories are equipped with state of the art computerized equipment for functional genomics, biochemistry, fluorescence detection, tissue culture and plant transformation.
