She was a member of the University of British Columbia Golf Team which won the Canadian Intercollegiate Golf Championship and received the University's highest sports award.
While at university Georgia studied Music Education and over the years she has also played the double bass in many professional orchestras, including the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra.
Learning how to play a musical instrument and learning how to play golf have a lot in common - a good sense of rhythm is required, and good instruction combined with lots of practice will pay great dividends.
