Brian Potter, Bien Concepcion and Robert Daschil founded German Car Fans, LLC in Montclair, New Jersey USA, October 2000. German car enthusiasts themselves and working in the industry, they founded GermanCarFans.com (GCF) with the idea of creating a website that reflected the passion and devotion that millions of people in the U.S. and worldwide held for all things related to German cars. While several websites had been developed for German car enthusiasts, almost all focused on a single brand. GCF’s founders, however, recognized that most people with an affiliation for a particular German brand were also interested in multiple, if not all, German brands. As such, they designed GCF as a portal where German car enthusiasts could come together and learn about, discuss and enjoy all German cars.
