Description

Excerpted from the website description:

German Vermin Auto Club is a vehicle community that surrounds itself by its members. We all share a common interest in german makes and models including Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, BMW, Mini, Mercedes and more. If you have a german made car you are more than welcome to join us. If you have an import car such as Toyota, Honda, etc...you are welcome to join as well as long as you are interested in bettering yourself and your relationship with your car. We do not tolerate abuse or corruption within the community. So if you are a street racer you are welcome to join but please keep it on the track. We are trying not to develope a bad name for our club and its members. Rules and Regulations I. Introduction This document has been created to explain rules and guidelines that we, the co-founders Nate Brouse, Dustin Rice, and Mike Schreurs, ask you to follow in order to create the best experience possible. Any violations of these rules and guidelines will result in a vote among members, on www.germanvermin.com, as to what action will be taken. II. Rules participating in organized street racing events while bearing German Vermin club sticker is strictly forbidden. Physical evidence i.e. photos showing your car with the club sticker at the event constitutes immediate expulsion from the club. Illegal actions by club members will not be tolerated. No exceptions We know that there are other clubs who meet to compete. We are not that type of club. We meet together for the love of German cars. There will be no bad mouthing other clubs while at meets or while participating on German Vermin forums. We are not a gang. Our birth was difficult enough lets not make it difficult to exist. We should try to cooperate with other clubs in order to expand the Utah car scene We require that you attend at least two 2 in state meetings per year and one 1 out-of-state event. We understand that some may be unable to attend the out-of-state event because of extenuating circumstances or financial difficulties. Sticker placement will be consistent with all cars. Stickers will be placed on the rear left corner window on both 2 door and 4 doors vehicles. This is for positive Identification of members. Club T-shirts and/or bowling shirts need to be worn at events. Club gear is a must to create a unity among members and a positive, organized appearance of our club. III. Membership Fee Beginning March 1st, we will require a yearly membership fee of $60, which can be broken into monthly payments at $5 per month. Renewal fees will then be due on March 1 of each following year. The funds will be put into a joint account shared by three members the founders and fund can be withdrawn only when two founders are present at the physical address of the financial institution. This is to reassure club members, limit the possibility of fraud, and keep consistency with club spending. Club funds will be used to: Help offset the cost of stickers, club shirts, club jackets, tickets to events, fuel expenses and food and lodging expenses for out-of-state trips. Repair damaged vehicle when assistance is needed. This must be approved by club members by vote. Club funds can offset 20% to 100% of repair cost. When a club member is applying for assistance, they must turn in an application, a timeline, and receive 100% membership approval. Possible approvals could range from 20% to 100% offset depending on attendance and club status i.e. participation, forum postings, overall attitude, and behavior. IV. Guidelines We ask but do not require that you recruit new members to our club. This is an effort we all must keep in mind in order to help our club grow and possibly expand throughout the western United States. We suggest that you try to perform at least one new modification to your car at least every 90 days.
