Description
For the last twenty five years, Gillian Jason has been a significant figure in the British art world. In the 1980’s and early 90’s, the Gillian Jason Gallery in Camden Town was the focus for exhibitions by key artists of the Modern British School such as David Bomberg, Frank Dobson, Eric Gill, John Minton, Stanley Spencer, William Roberts, John Tunnard and Peter Lanyon.
1994 brought the creation of Jason & Rhodes Gallery. The gallery showed the distinguished sculptors Eduardo Paolozzi, Michael Sandle and David Mach and painters John Virtue, Paul Huxley, Paul Storey, Ansel Krut. It also exhibited new cutting edge British talent.
In 1999 Gillian decided to work as a private dealer, offering a personalised service to collectors and vendors, including sourcing and placing of works of art by British and European artists, consultancy and valuation. Gillian also represents the painter, Paul Storey.
