Girl Player is based out of Seattle, WA USA. This site and concept were created by Nollie DeVol (that's me). I'm the vocalist and guitarist for an all girl band called Slink. O.K., so I put my band on the front page of this site. What can I say? I like Slink! Don't worry, I won't be reviewing my own band, that probably wouldn't go over very well!!

I decided to do Girl Player after visiting lots of sites and listing my band in different places, and I thought that it would be great if bands could get more than just a link. When there are tons of bands listed, you'd better make yourself sound really interesting (if you even get to put in a description of your band), or people may not check you out. Some sites take forever to load, so scanning through a photo gallery is a cool way to easily check out bands, then if they're interested in learning more about you, they'll log onto your site.
