Melisa Holmes, MD, (right) an ob-gyn and mother of 3 girls, and Patricia Hutchison, MD, (left) a pediatrician and also mother of 2 girls, created Girlology because of their commitment to women’s health. Thousands of girls, young women, and mothers have entrusted them with their healthcare, and in doing so have brought them thousands of personal questions and concerns regarding human development and sexuality. After observing that many parents are reluctant to discuss sexuality with their daughters, they realized that their combined expertise and experience makes them just the gals to offer some good ol’ Girltalk.
