The Western Colorado Center for the Arts is a nonprofit corporation. Our mission is to promote the enjoyment and understanding of the arts through educational programs, exhibits, and the acquisition and display of a permanent collection.
We are the only arts organization serving the Grand Valley that hosts a constantly rotating schedule of exhibits with a scope ranging from traditional gallery offerings to cutting-edge contemporary and installation art. With three galleries, a Japanese garden and sculpture courtyard, we might have as many as five exhibits on display at any given time! Though our emphasis is on local and Western Colorado artists, we also bring to the community the work of regionally, nationally, and internationally acclaimed artists.
Our gift shop features an eclectic selection of unique art objects made by local artisans. You'll find everything from hand-crafted pottery, jewelry, and paintings to our beautiful, full-color Permanent Collection catalog and note cards.
