Stained Glass Patterns,Glass Patterns Magazine,Free Stained Glass Patterns

Description

Page by page, issue to issue, year after year, Glass Patterns Quarterly brings you the best art glass designs by the best art glass designers—at least a dozen projects in each edition, for every level of accomplishment from newcomer to expert. We provide the patterns and illustrated step-by-step instructions to help you reproduce these designs or use them as the basis for your own creations. The purpose is to help you take your glass artistry in the directions you desire. This was the original vision of GPQ founders Maureen and Steven James, and it remains so today.

Maureen, editor-in-chief, brings a background in printing and publishing Sunday magazines for major newspapers nationwide. Steven, the publisher, has an artist's eye, invaluable in project selection. He is also a good man with a blueprint. He designed and built GPQ's offices and Hidden Valley Art Glass' studio, which makes the projects for the magazine, along with commissioned pieces for glass companies and other large clients.

Theirs is a vision everyone at GPQ shares, and most on the staff have shared it since the very beginning in 1985. That's why you see the same names in every issue. Mark Waterbury and Dave Burnett are both designers and fabricators, and they've both been glass artists for as long as Glass Patterns Quarterly has been a magazine.
