Description
Dr. William Steiger has served as the Director of the Office of Global Health Affairs and Special Assistant to the Secretary for International Affairs since 2001.
Represents the Department to other governments, other Federal Departments and agencies, international organizations, and the private sector on international and refugee health issues;
Develops U.S. policy and strategy positions related to health issues and facilitating involvement of the Public Health Service in support of these positions and in collaboration with other agencies and organizations;
