The roots of Globalpraxis are to be found in The MAC Group. The founding partners of Globalpraxis learned their trade at The MAC Group where they worked until 1993.
The MAC Group was created by Harvard Business School professors in order to professionalize their individual consulting practices. It quickly grew into an international consulting firm combining faculty experts and full-time consultants in an atmosphere of objectivity, creativity, intellectual rigor, clarity, fairness, modesty and friendly relationships. Values which continue to exist at Globalpraxis.
In 1992 The MAC Group was acquired by Cap Gemini but remained autonomous. In 1994 it became fully integrated into Gemini Consulting, after which several senior partners decided to create a new consulting firm under the name of EuroPraxis.
