Globekey, Agent-Key and Portalkey software products are owned by Oceanic Consultancy Company Limited, a company registered in August 1999. Oceanic is an Application Service Provider, supplying an online reservation system to hotels, apartments, inbound tour operators, travel portal websites and others selling accommodation over the Internet.

The first sales of Oceanic's software were made in South East Asia in early 2000. These first South East Asian clients have now been using the software for over 6 years.

Oceanic's first American client started using the system early in 2001, and since then Oceanic has developed close working relationships with several representatives in the United States, notably in New York, Florida, Texas and California.
