edit Pay Per Click (PPC)

Pay-per-click advertising (often referred to as PPC) normally refers to Web advertising that the client pays for only when someone actually clicks on the ad.

PPC differs sharply from other forms of advertising that require the client to pay for placement, regardless of whether anyone actually responds to the ad.
