About Us
The GMB is a strong, modern, dynamic trade union focused on one thing - protecting our members in the workplace. This website reflects the GMB's aims and ideals, and shows what we do every day for our members.
The GMB is a general union - which means that anyone can join us. We have over 600,000 members working in every part of the economy. One in every 32 people at work in the
economy doing every type of job imaginable. Our members are men and women, young and old, working full and part time, and are made up of a wide and diverse cross section of our society.
