- Mawar Sharon Church begins in 1985 with the founding of Febe prayer fellowship. Located at Embong Sawo street, this fellowship meets weekly on Monday with average attendance of 75 to 100 people. A year later, the venue was moved to Cempaka street, where the service was held underneath the current sanctuary's balcony. The fellowship formally adopts the name Mawar Sharon (Rose of Sharon) in July 20, 1980. In 2002, the Lord added another vision for the church to become an apostolic and a prophetic cell church. During this year, the church grew rapidly under the grace of God. Today, with a network of 58 local churches, Mawar Sharon church is well poised to bless our cities and our beloved nation with the message of God's love and redemption.
