Description
I was born in Chennai, India and was schooled at Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan (KK Nagar). I graduated with the Class of '99. My undergraduate degree is from University of Maryland College Park, and I graduated with the Class of Spring '04. I have since moved to Seattle, and work as part of the Windows team at Microsoft Corporation.
gocool.org was started in the summer of 2001. The primary intention of my blog has always been to keep my family and friends engaged and informed. Distances turn out to be less significant when I engage people in a dialogue every day. Due to the nature of my day job, I may slip in something technical once in a while. My audience, however, generally does a good job of slapping my wrist and reaffirming my intentions for blogging in the first place.
In my spare time, I love to paint or, more recently, play the Xbox. Books I read are mostly written by Bill Bryson, Michael Crichton, RK Narayan, Jeffrey Archer and few other technical authors like Simon Singh. A good workout at the gym always cheers me up, though getting to the gym involves overcoming incredible amounts of inertia that I generally hold. I enjoy playing Tennis outdoors. Music keeps me going everyday, and Rhapsody allows me plenty of chances to explore and move on. I am the proud owner of a Rio Karma. Santana, to me, is synonymous with God.
