GoModern.co.uk was founded by a pair of furniture sales entrepreneurs to make online sales of quality furniture a better experience.

GoModern, which has a retail showroom in London, UK, has come a long way toward achieving that goal.

GoModern.co.uk's easy-to-navigate site has made GoModern popular with magazine editors who need modern furniture for photo shoots. The company's furniture has also made appearances on several television shows -- for example, ITV's Hell's Kitchen.

Contemporary furniture shipped throughout Europe edit

GoModern ships to most EU and European countries, including Scandinavia and Switzerland, and throughout the UK and Channel Islands. Shipping to the United States is not yet available.

Most items can be shipped within two months. GoModern's classic furniture and flueless fires have a substantially shorter delivery schedule. Furniture delivery schedules vary according to what's in stock, and the company frequently buys for specific orders.

"Buying to order means we can keep our overhead down, and pass on the savings to our customers," Mahony says.
