Video Game Rental | Free Trial | GPlay.com
Description
GPlay, Inc. (formerly GoVoJo, Inc.) was created with one mission in mind, getting the best games in the hands of gaming enthusiasts in the most convenient and cost efficient way possible. We opened our doors on January 15, 2002 with the goal of becoming the largest provider of video game rentals in the world.
Our service is simple. For a monthly subscription fee (as low as $13.95), customers can rent as many video games as they like and keep them without any fear of late fees or due dates. We use the United States Postal Service to deliver our games and provide prepaid envelopes for customers to send their games back to us. We'll then send another game in their rental queue and the process starts all over again.
Clyde Jones and Tuyen Vo came up with the idea of GPlay while having lunch at their favorite noodle house in 2001. A few months later they decided to give it a shot and started the company in January 2002. With a graciously borrowed web server and a handful of cash they built a test site to see if customers would come (and, did they ever). Since then, they have focused on improving the service by encouraging member feedback and have recruited a team of talented programmers, brilliant marketers and savvy operations experts.
