Title edit
The Georgia Reptile and Amphibian Rescue Effort, Inc., home of Creepy Critters Educational Outreach Programs
Description edit
We are a growing organization dedicated to improving the availability of information for the proper care of reptiles, amphibians, and arthropods in captivity. We strive to achieve this goal in three distinct ways:
Education: Our educational program branch is called Creepy Critters. We provide quality live animal educational programs to schools, youth and civic groups, social events, and even birthday parties. These programs are geared for a fun time while learning about the realities and myths of these animals. Check out our Educational Programs pages for more information.
Resource Referral: We hope to tie together as many reptile/amphibian rehabilitators as possible into a working network; sharing ideas, resources, and educational opportunities. If someone in Valdosta has a donation source for heat lamps, and someone in Augusta needs some, we want to help get them together. (sort of like a reptile supply E-bay, only no charge!). We are also starting collection of what we hope will be an extremely large and comprehensive reference and On Line library which will be open to the public for on site reading and research. This library will cover natural history, captive husbandry and propagation, conservation, medical and research issues.
