Description
The GFAF is the regional professional organization for individuals who work in the fields of advertising and marketing within central and Western Maryland. The GFAF and its members are part of the national American Advertising Federation, which acts as the “Unifying Voice for Advertising.” In addition to advocating the rights of advertisers, we educate policymakers, the news media and the general public on the value that advertising brings to the well being of the nation. Through our programs and committees, the GFAF achieves the following:
The Greater Frederick Advertising Federation enhances the advertising' and communications industry by providing quality support to the diverse community of individuals dedicated to their profession, whose contributions are vital to the region’s economy and culture.
Elections are held each spring to select a slate of board members who serve a one or two year term. This staggered schedule ensures continuity of the club’s mission and goals, as some board members continue to serve from the previous year. It also ensures new ideas are brought to the club since new board members join every year. The current board members are listed below; they are always available to help out should you have any problems or concerns.
