The City of Greenbelt is a suburb of Washington, D.C., located within Prince George's County, one of the largest and fastest growing counties in the country. Greenbelt is the intersecting point for four major highways, including the Baltimore-Washington Parkway and the Capital Beltway. As such, rapid access to much of the metropolitan area is available. A new station for the New York to Washington high speed Metroliner is located only two miles from the city.
