The Green Mountain Suzuki Institute, located in Rochester, Vermont, is an approved Suzuki Association of the Americas (SAA) Institute for string, flute, and piano students ages 4-17. Our enthusiastic professional staff is committed to creating an inspiring week of music and fun for your family, providing motivation and reinforcement for home study.

Each student at the institute has a master class and a group lesson every day. In addition, each student also chooses elective classes including: Orff Schulwerk, African Drumming, African Dance, Sing Like a Star, String Orchestra, Composition, International Folk Dancing, Haitian Folkloric Drumming, and Hand Bells. Unique to GMSI, advanced students may participate in a Chamber Music group, working every day with piano, flute and string coaches.

A parent is requred to accompany the student throughout each day. The Institute is an opportunity for parents to share ideas with other parents and teachers, reinforce each other's efforts, and learn new skills for working with their children.
