GreenerForum.com is a branch of Greener Business Bureau (G-B-B). G-B-B is an alternative, grass roots program connecting conscious consumers & green businesses via multi-media, social networking and green business certification.
The increased momentum to shift our paradigm to consciously consider the impact our choices have on our health, the planet and the over all good that will come has resulted in a need for transparent business practices. The GBB provides consumer assurance by implementing comprehensive standards and encouraging transparency in the green business sector. The GBB’s key element is its certification program which eliminates ambiguity among retailers and alleviates uncertainty among end users by providing an interactive interface. GBB strategies require reciprocal cooperation between businesses, consumers, and organizations that represent green initiatives. Through a green business practices survey, public profile details, working with consumer-generated product reviews and ratings, GBB bridges the gap between green companies and their customers.
