I’ve been looking for a plugin for Wordpress that displays an RSS feed somewhere on your blog for some time now. It’s mainly for the LibriVox home page to display the New Releases feed. We were relying on rss-to-javascript.com previously, and it seems to hang up the front page and cause an extended loading time sometimes. I had hesitated to try some of the plugins that were available, because they all seemed complicated to install and maintain. That, and they relied on something called “cron”, which I am totally unfamiliar with, but it seems that was what made them complicated.
