- Greyhound Pets of America/Daytona Beach (GPA/Daytona Beach) is a chapter of a national 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to finding responsible, loving homes for retired racing greyhounds. GPA/Daytona Beach maintains a kennel at the racing compound with approximately 50 greyhounds available at all times. Greyhound pets are affordable to own, low maintenance, mellow in temperament, housebroken and easy to train. They are also friendly with other pets, eager to please and intelligent. The sponsors of GPA/Daytona Beach volunteer at various locations around the Daytona Beach area to raise awareness, introduce prospective families to their new pets and provide adoption as an option.
