Description
GRID stands for Glycemic Response Inhibition Diet. The GRID Diet is based on improving nutrition by decreasing or eliminating high glycemic index foods (without resorting to a high animal protein intake). High glycemic index foods are replaced with whole plant foods that are high in fiber and have a low glycemic index. This helps create a fat burning metabolism and lowers levels of hormones that contribute to weight gain.
