GT Trends chose to pursue worthwhile causes by embarking on a charity fundraising initiative. This approach relies on a cooperative effort with the Charity Services Program, the GT Trends Foundation, and numerous Nonprofit Organizations.
GT Trends came up with an innovative response to donate needed money to charities and other nonprofit organizations by starting the Charity Services Program and the GT Trends Foundation, a nonprofit organization.
Business people, whether “for profit” or not, who work in innovative ways toward socially responsible pursuits are Social Entrepreneurs, just like the people who plan, launch, manage, and implement the Charity Services Program. By engaging in this corporate—nonprofit partnership with "cross-branded" travel websites to facilitate revenue generating activities, you can rightly think of yourself as a Social Entrepreneur.
The Charity Services Program provides a website for both technology-rich and technology-poor organizations. Any nonprofit—whether it has had a website or not—can now have a presence on the web through which to generate funds to promote its mission and activities.
This Manual is intended to provide you with the information necessary to pass the Charity Consultant Certifying Examination and to serve as a Handbook for your work as a Certified Charity Consultant.
