I was born in Ludlow and now live in the midlands where I studied. This is my house! A typical 3 bedroom semi detached house dating from the 1930s replete with small front garden and 70ft back garden. One of the bedrooms is given over as a kittening room and half of the garden consists of the cattery and its extended covered garden run.

I am a parent and this means I have a strictly non mawkish approach to breeding. Kittens are not ‘babies’, Dams are not ‘girls’ and Sires are not ‘boys’. I find the humanisation of animals demeaning. We should aim to understand the animal for itself as opposed to ascribing them human traits!
