The GuitarVision Team is a group of musicians of various skill levels -- from touring artists to weekend jammers -- and with diverse backgrounds. But what we all share is a love of music, and of playing guitar.

One day a few of us got to talking about when and why we started playing, what we liked to play, how many guitars we had gone through, and which instruments we wanted badly. And we all agreed that it should have been easier, faster, and more fun to learn to play our favorite songs.

We had all had the same experience at one time or another: a buddy showed us how to play a riff or a whole song. We agreed that that was usually the best way to learn new tunes -- and it was certainly the most fun. So we formed vmusicsystems, inc. and set off to build the electronic equivalent of that "buddy". And we decided that our new software friend should know every song, have invisible fingers, be on-call 24/7, and have infinite patience. That's where GuitarVision comes in.
