What is a Gunter? This is a difficult question to answer. It’s sort of like that saying, “I don’t know what I’m looking for, but I’ll know it when I see it.” You don’t really know someone is a Gunter unless they are a Gunter. To understand what it is to be a Gunter, it might help to read the new Annotated Book of Gunter.
The 5 Tenets of Gunter form the core of Gunter ideals. In recent years, as we’ve begun to document our origins, there has been some debate as to the proper ordering of the 5 principles, particularly in whether “Sex” or “Beer” gets top billing. I think most of us agree on the following order, and it’s been approved by a quorum of the High Priests:
