- Our Organization
- Global Youth Empowerment (GYE) began operations on June 11, 2001. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation registered in the state of New Jersey. We are affiliated with our Ghanaian NGO (non-government organization), Without Borders. Our Board of Directors is totally dedicated to the cause and actively involved in its realization. We meet regularly as a board to discuss GYE's progress and set goals for the upcoming weeks. In addition, we have approximately 30 active supporters who volunteer their services. Global Youth Empowerment currently does not incur any employment expenses as all the work is done on a volunteer basis. We are committed to maintaining low administrative overhead and making the most of every dollar contributed.
