Habitat for Humanity East King County Home page

Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with people in need by building and renovating houses, so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which every person can experience God' love and can live and grow into all that God intends.
Habitat for Humanity of East King County (HfHEKC) is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, which operates independently but has the same mission and goals as Habitat for Humanity International. The Eastside chapter is one of 30+ Habitat affiliates in Washington State. We follow the guidelines of the International organization in Americus, Georgia, but like all affiliates, we are an autonomous group with our own local board of directors. Since it’s founding by Bob and Shirley Patterson in 1988, this affiliate has built 60 homes in the cities of Carnation, Sammamish, Issaquah, Bellevue, Kirkland, Newcastle, and Snoqualmie. Our service area is from Issaquah to Bothell and East to North Bend. The goal of this affiliate is to make it possible for low-income Eastside residents to be able to purchase simple decent affordable homes. We are currently building 24 homes in Redmond.
