A Spokane man is at the center of a nation-wide investigation into computer hacking where according to the FBI, millions of dollars were allegedly stolen over the Internet in a complex story of Internet phone service fraud that stretches from Spokane to Miami, Florida and Newark, New Jersey.
Federal prosecutors have arrested two men in connection with this voice-over Internet provider scheme. The US Attorney's Office says Edwin Pena was arrested Wednesday morning in Miami for hacking into telephone service providers including a company in Newark, New Jersey.
