In the summer of 2005, an unwitting law student and his new bride stumbled upon what appeared to be a bargain too good to be true - a seemingly acceptable apartment in the metropolitan D.C. area at a seeming reasonable price. Overjoyed, the couple proceeded headlong into a 12-month lease, a lease that would prove to be a hellish 12-month journey into the unknown realm of mentally-ill neighbors, neighborhood child molesters, roaches, bedbugs, and latino stalkers.
