We could have gone into the trucking business, but we loved pets. As proud New York City Dog Owners, we rescue pets, we adopt them and we take them out to play. We bring them to work if they miss us at home and we bundle them into our cars on the rare occasion that we get to have fun in the wild unknown. So, while you can still get your everyday pet supplies in our store such as rawhide chews and pooper scooper stuff, we do not try to be the Everything Conglomerate Pet Store in which you will end up dazed on aisle 7 somewhere between the lemon and baby powder scented stain removers.
We have scoured the globe to find the fun stuff that will allow you to interact with your pet at home or in the fresh outdoors. At HandsNpaws you'll find one of the largest and unique selections of the latest in toys, pet carriers, and travel related items. Since many "lifestyle pets" tend to be on the small side, we have a large selection of pet apparel too for pets who like to step out in coordinated attire. We are also one of the few stores to stock apparel for larger sized dogs as well because the larger dogs tend to be just the type for rugged sports and camping vacations. Many of our customers are also men. While we cater to customers in other regions and internationally, New York Dog Owners are particularly welcome.
