Description
After owning and operating a business in the Caribbean for several years, we realized that one of our main problems was dependable and on time sourcing and delivery of our materials from abroad. Many times items were also missing or destroyed and no one was responsible because of the different handlers involved.
In some cases the US suppliers did not want to deal with us because we did not order large enough quantities of the same products but smaller amounts of a variety of products, which made sourcing for them a lot of work.
So we decided to do it ourselves. Hassell Free Exports Inc. was established in 1999 with a two-fold purpose. The first being purchasing agent/supplier for businesses and individuals on the smaller islands in the Caribbean. Secondly as a freight consolidator/forwarder for persons or businesses wanting to ship directly. To some Islands we send container loads and to others less than container loads.
