ounder and Managing Director of Hawkins International is Dr. Sebastian Hawkins Ph.D., D.C., D.O. The son of an Englishman and Irish mother, he was born in the city of Bath, England, on September 30th 1923.
Educated in England and the United States of America, he qualified as an Osteopath and Chiropractor, then gained a Ph.D. in physical medicine. Dr. Hawkins is a current member of the American Chiropractic Association and a life member of the British Guild of Drugless Practitioners.
Mostly all of the things we have come to expect in modern day weight reducing and drugless pain management techniques, originated in his physical medicine practice. It all began on 16 January 1948, which was the day Dr. Hawkins perfected his first (EBA) weight reducing machine. And, the electro-pad slimming concept was born. A few years later, Dr. Hawkins invented his first electronic pain relief machine.
