- My early exploration gave me the impression that boys should not dress or behave femininely, had not dressed or behaved femininely, and what I did was completely unusual and utterly wrong. This caused many years of denying my true feelings and avoiding my inner-most desires. I went all through grade school without ever attempting to try anything else, fearing my family would embarrass and harass me if I did. Until...the day. The day our class received a new student. At lunch all of the boys were asking the new guy where he was from, what it was like, and why he moved. With the answer came an astonishing revelation that "He" was a "she". I recalled my early experience and wondered if there was anyone else who shared my aspiration. I searched and searched for information and began taking tips and advice from every website I could find. Throughout high school, I experimented on and off and had several strange occurrences and near-miss situations. For the most part, I always managed to conceal my activities from family and friends.
