- HEADRAGZ was founded some time ago when we saw the need to be different than the old, scratchy, sandpaper type “duragz”. We are big on comfort and function. We will always go for comfort; so we decided to make a soft cotton/lycra “durag.” One that would be soft and comfortable, and have enough memory for recovery to be worn with or without our helmets. Then we decided to make “ducapz” so that they would comfortably fit under a helmet or a baseball type hat. Again, thinking of comfort and also, keeping our helmets and hats cleaner, thus the “underwear for your head”.
