Our alternative health care clinic was founded by Dr. Lon M. Hatfield, a family practice MD who also has a Ph.D. in biochemistry, in 1998.
The original vision was a holistic medicine center, staffed by a highly trained, multi-disciplinary team of dedicated doctors and therapists who could work with patients to promote natural healing and optimal wellness. He believed that integrative medicine could use the latest technology to support the health care practitioners to incorporate the leading-edge knowledge and the best treatments from Western , Eastern , and alternative medicine.
After researching the relatively few alternative healthcare clinics currently in existence, he designed an alternative medicine facility to optimize the conditions that enable the body to experience natural healing. The Healing Arts Center is located in Northeast Washington State, in Colville, WA, a small community 64 miles north of Spokane.
