Started under the name of Discount Nutritional Supplements in 1989, HealthPost has grown steadily from the humblest of beginnings. What was once a desk in the corner of a living room and a few shelves in an unused wine cellar has become half a house and is bursting at the seams. There is talk of new premises...but we will stay in Collingwood. (Coastal village in Golden Bay, close to the northern tip of the South Island of New Zealand)
HealthPost is still a small home-based operation, defying many modern business maxims. The staff, three women all with school-age children, enjoy relaxed and flexible working conditions.
Most of our growth has been through referrals. We are proud to say we have never lost sight of an early emphasis on discounted prices, a range of quality brands and fast and friendly service.
